The Winter Warehouse Extravaganza!

  • January 17, 2018
GRID Alternatives team celebrates at winter warehouse event with green banner and white vehicle

This past December the GRID Bay Area’s warehouse and outdoor training space got an overhaul, an extravagant overhaul at the Winter Warehouse Extravaganza! That morning 20 people came ready to work and get their hands dirty and it made an incredible impact!:

  • Over 320 gallons worth of trash, recyclables, metal, and unidentifiable junk were removed from our warehouse, trailers, truck beds, and practice roof training space.
  • Modules for 4 solar installs were prepped – an effort that would have taken our construction team half a day.
  • Because of this, 15 job trainees from our partner Young Community Developers were able to get hands-on solar training last week by participating in a mock install at our new and improved practice roofs.
