After receiving expensive quotes from for-profit solar companies, Eddy discovered GRID IE\u2019s no-cost solar program through a flyer delivered in his neighborhood. <strong>\u201cGRID has a solid plan. They came to my house for a site visit,<br \/>\nand were friendly and coordinated,\u201d<\/strong> said Eddy, who chose GRID IE for its no-cost accessibility and nonprofit values that put people first.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>&#8220;As the grant comes to a close, our Outreach Team hopes to provide utility bill savings and reroofing opportunities to every interested resident in Eastside, including more community members with manufactured homes.\u201d<\/strong> \u2013Sam, the Senior Outreach Coordinator who oversaw every step of Eddy\u2019s installation<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Eddy encourages his Eastside neighbors to apply by October 17th, 2025, before time runs out.<strong>\u201cGo for it!
