No-one can stop you, but YOU.\u201d <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Lisa (She\/her)<\/strong><\/p>\n Throughout IBT 200\u2019s intense curriculum, Lisa learned something new about herself: \u201cI am capable of learning new skills in an environment unfamiliar to me.\u201d<\/strong><\/em> She also sees the positive impact of her hard work reflected in her personal life. <\/p>\n Angel O. (He\/him)<\/strong><\/p>\n Angel came across IBT 200 during his pursuit for construction and OSHA 10 training. In his case, it\u2019s important to \u201cNot be afraid of failure. Persistence and a learning attitude are key. GRID wants you to succeed,\u201d<\/strong><\/em> he said. <\/p>\n Jorge (He\/him)<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI plan on pursuing a career as an entry level solar installer,\u201d<\/strong><\/em> shares Jorge, whose goal is to learn the latest solar technologies through the IBT 200 classroom and hands-on lab activities.<\/p>\n Daveion (He\/him)<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cEveryday has been a fun learning experience,\u201d<\/strong><\/em> says Daveion, who was recommended IBT 200 by the Center for Employment Opportunities. \u201cI am proud that I put myself out there and try something new.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Joaly (She\/her)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Since hearing about GRID IE’s IBT 200 program from a family member, Joaly has \u201cbeen able to pick up a ton of skills in a short time frame and install solar.\u201d<\/strong><\/em> She gives a huge thanks to the Workforce and Construction staff!<\/p>\n Jesus (He\/him)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI wanted to take my first step in a trade, and GRID IE gave me an opportunity to learn and experience solar,\u201d<\/strong><\/em> shares Jesus. \u201cWe learn for free, earn money for completion, and get a solar certificate\u2014my plan is to find a good job and build a career from it.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Angel R. (He\/him)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n After hearing about IBT 200 from a staff member at GRID IE, Angel was anxious to have a shot at a great opportunity: \u201cI applied to the program because I am interested in the field of solar installation.
