The year-long program is an opportunity for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join GRID for a paid term of service to their community, while gaining valuable experience in the solar industry to help launch their renewable energy careers. <\/p>\n<p>When asked to reflect on his impressions of the program and current cohort of fellows the first thing that came to Rich\u2019s was diversity. Rich noted that he was both impressed and excited by the diversity he saw in the room and elaborated about the need for this in the renewable energy industry, workforce, and clients alike. \u201cThat\u2019s why Bank of America is so invested in GRID Alternatives and the SolarCorps program because it\u2019s addressing both of those issues. It\u2019s addressing the diversity of the workforce, and it\u2019s addressing the access to solar,\u201d Rich added. <\/p>\n<p>To date, more than 300 people have served as fellows in GRID\u2019s SolarCorps program. Our SolarCorps Fellows play a crucial role in making GRID\u2019s vision of a successful transition to clean, renewable energy that includes everyone a reality, and we\u2019re so thankful for Bank of America\u2019s support of the program. <\/p>\n<p>You can join the team! Get directly involved with GRID by applying for GRID\u2019s SolarCorps Fellowship Program. Fellows serve in all of GRID\u2019s US offices working in construction, outreach, and volunteer engagement. Positions are full time, paid, and have benefits through AmeriCorps.
