GRID Alternatives is a 501(c) (3) certified non-profit organization that brings together community partners, volunteers and job trainees to implement solar power and energy efficiency for low-income families, providing energy cost savings, valuable hands-on experience, and a source of clean, local energy that benefits us all. The Central Valley office has installed more than 2,614 photovoltaic systems since opening the office in 2009 and has helped families save $77,146,837 during the lifetime of the system.<\/p>\n
The support from Bank of America Charitable Foundation will help families save money on electrical bills by installing photovoltaic systems on the rooftop of their homes.<\/p>\n
