Since 2001, GRID has worked side by side with low-income communities to reduce climate injustice and provide job training for the new green economy. We have a shared vision to continue this work at a time where the need is increasing. This need will only be met with support from people like you. <\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve volunteered on an install or signed up for our newsletter, you are part of the clean energy transition and the GRID team. However, our impact grows when volunteers and supporters become donors. In the coming weeks, we will be emphasizing the importance of charitable gifts, which help us stay true to our shared values \u2013 people, planet, and employment. <\/p>\n<p>This holiday season we, the new Member &amp; Donor Partnerships team, are asking you to share your generosity. Everyone has a special reason for giving \u2013 for some, GRID opened the door for a career in solar, and they want to <a href=\"https:\/\/donate.gridalternatives.org\/campaign\/make-the-world-brighter\/c254618?utm_source=EOY2019&amp;utm_medium=MADblog\" title=\"Donate to GRID!\" target=\"_blank\">pay it forward<\/a> for another person. Some want to <a href=\"https:\/\/donate.gridalternatives.org\/campaign\/make-the-world-brighter\/c254618?utm_source=EOY2019&amp;utm_medium=MADblog\" title=\"Donate to GRID!\" target=\"_blank\">support climate justice<\/a>, and believe in a clean energy future that includes and benefits everyone. Some <a href=\"https:\/\/gridalternatives.org\/support\/membership\" title=\"Learn about becoming a GRID member\" target=\"_blank\">give a little every month<\/a> \u2013 no more than the cost of a cup of coffee \u2013 because they know that when a lot of people give what they can, it sparks something much greater. It\u2019s a new chapter in GRID\u2019s story, and we are a new team to work with our community of supporters.
