We couldn\u2019t have done it without our partners, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usgbc.org\/\">USGBC<\/a>, Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seia.org\/\">Solar Energy Industries Association<\/a> (SEIA), and <a href=\"http:\/\/calseia.org\/\">California Solar Energy Industries Association <\/a>(CalSEIA). Special thanks to Dominique Hargreaves, the Executive Director of <a href=\"http:\/\/usgbc-la.org\/\">USGBC-LA<\/a> for her long standing support of GLA and the work that we do.<\/p>\n<p>More than 300 individuals attended the job fair seeking opportunities ranging from installation to sales and design. The 15 employers present collected more than 486 resumes, while arranging or conducting more than 60 interviews. Some of the most exciting news came at the end of the day when employers reported that five individuals were hired on the spot!<\/p>\n<p>Events like Wednesday\u2019s help to support the growth of the solar industry in Los Angeles County, which currently employs more than 15,000 individuals.
