Thanks to your support, we had an incredible year! Here are a few things to be excited about from 2014:<\/p>\n<p>GRID Bay Area volunteers put in <strong>13,000 hours of service<\/strong>. That\u2019s some serious time, all directly benefitting low-income communities! <\/p>\n<p>More than <strong>35 of our local volunteers<\/strong> were recruited for jobs in the growing solar industry thanks to their experience with GRID.<\/p>\n<p>You helped us <strong>install 144 solar systems for low-income families <\/strong>in 2014! Over their lifespan, these systems will <strong>eliminate 10,500 tons of green house gas emissions<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s the carbon offset equivalent of planting <em>more than twice<\/em> the number of public trees in San Francisco, <strong>more than 240,000 trees<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to our work in 2014 alone, local families are on their way to collectively <strong>save more than $3,000,000<\/strong> over these systems&#8217; lifetimes!<\/p>\n<p>Wow! We hope you\u2019re as powered up about these results as we are. <strong>And if you\u2019re really feeling the energy, consider <a href=\"https:\/\/donatenow.networkforgood.org\/1441127\" target=\"_blank\">supporting GRID with a gift<\/a> of any size today<\/strong>.
