Last October we celebrated GRID Alternatives Central Valley\u2019s fifth annual Solarthon. Our event brought together over one hundred corporate employee volunteers, job trainees, community volunteers, and homeowners to install clean renewable solar energy for 8 qualifying families. The event was planned in partnership with Self Help Enterprises and benefited families living in Biola’s Housing Subdivision where families helped build their own homes from the ground-up, and now have their own solar photovoltaic system on their rooftops. Central Valley Solarthon celebration took place October 23rd and 24th, 2015. <\/p>\n
