Her son Donald helped her out with the logistics of applying for the GRID Alternatives program \u2014 he says that between solar and what Maggie learned about what she can do to be more energy efficient in her home, they&#8217;ve noticed a big difference her energy bill. Solar has allowed Maggic to live more comfortably and given her peace of mind about turning on her air conditioning when the temperature spikes.
